Units eligible to be listed on NJHRC are at or below 140% of the Fair Market Rent as defined by HUD for the county where the unit is located.

To see if your unit is at or below 140% of Fair Market Rent:

  1. Return to the homepage www.njhousing.gov
  2. Select “List Housing”
  3. Pick the city where your unit is located
  4. Refer to the “Listing Limits” table in the center of the page
  5. Match up the bedroom column with the 140% of FMR row. That number is the maximum rent amount that can be charged and still be eligible to be listed on the NJHRC.
